Volunteers needed to accomplish the Retreat Center mission

Volunteers are needed to help accomplish the Jesuit Retreat Center mission.

The mission states that “The Jesuit Retreat Center of Los Altos, a community of prayer, offers the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola to all. Through our sharing of the Exercises, rooted in the Word of God and in the Catholic tradition, the Spirit frees minds and hearts to mature in friendship with Christ, to find God in every aspect of experience, and to live Gospel values.”

JRC is here because retreats change lives. It’s time to let more people know their lives can be changed.

This summer the Jesuit Retreat Center is embarking on a mission to let as many people as possible know about the wonderful retreats that are available to them. That’s where volunteers come in.

A beautiful brochure listing JRC retreats will be published by June. Let your parish know about all the retreats simply by taking brochures to your church for distribution. This is a wonderful way to tell other parishioners in your congregation about the “holy hill” that is known as the Jesuit Retreat Center. It’s also a great way to get to know other people.

All volunteers will receive a “how to guide” about talking with pastors and parish administrators as well as the other parishioners in your church.

Be a part of the Jesuit Retreat Mission by helping others “…mature in friendship with Christ, find God in every aspect of experience, and live Gospel values.” Help someone’s life be changed by a retreat.
