Autumn is always an exciting time of year at El Retiro and this year that is especially true. The celebration for our 100^th anniversary continues October 19 when we honor the history and ensure the future of El Retiro.

The Blessing of the Cross in the Centennial Garden is a celebration of the past century and of the future. All proceeds raised will benefit the fund that sustains the Pastoral Staff presence at the Retreat Center in the coming decades.

Attendance is free. Support the El Retiro goal to raise $75,000 for the Pastoral Staff Fund by becoming a sponsor. You also will have the opportunity to make a gift or a pledge during the Blessing of the Cross event as well as before and after October 19.

It was the dedication and faith of the Jesuits that built and kept El Retiro alive and thriving for a full century. We want to ensure that faith and determination remains for the next 100 years by building a fund that will preserve the presence of the Jesuit Pastoral Staff at El Retiro.

The Blessing of the Cross commemoration will feature Mass, a lovely reception in the Grotto, and drawings for a spa gift basket, a holiday gift basket, a coffee & tea gift basket, and a wine & cheese gift basket.

We have two sponsorships levels available:

Centennial Garden (Presenting) Sponsor: $5,000

•            10 Event Registrations/Tickets for Drawing

•            Name recognition in Invitations/Promotional Materials

•            Insertion of branded flyers and/or giveaways for our gift bags distributed to all guests

•            Name recognition in Centennial Garden

•            Name recognition during reception and on The Jesuit Retreat Center website

•            2 registrations for any 3-day retreat (contingent on availability)

•            Copy of the 100-Year History of El Retiro: A Story of Dreams, Resilience and Faith

Olive Tree Sponsor: $1,000

•            4 Event Registrations/Tickets for Drawing
