WORKSHOP: Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality

Based upon the religious experience of St. Ignatius Loyola, the spiritual heritage of St. Ignatius fosters an immediate sensitivity to the individual encounters of God’s care and communication in one’s life. Consequently, this sensitivity affects one’s prayer, decision-making, self-knowledge, and worldview. This workshop will explore some key characteristics of Ignatian spirituality and the foundational worldview of Ignatius to one’s daily life. Topics include Ignatian prayer, the Examen, and “Ignatian indifference.”
