Fr. Walt Farrell, SJ, is a Cleveland native, who entered the Jesuits in 1934. He did his graduate studies in psychology and philosophy at Loyola, Chicago and the Gregorian University in Rome. He has taught philosophy and theology at University of Detroit Mercy and the Chicago Province Major Seminary, was Provincial Superior of the Detroit Province, National Assistant for Jesuit Formation, a Founder of the Romero Center for Spirituality and Justice, and Consultant to the Detroit Provincial in the areas of Ignatian Values in Ministry. Walt joined the staff at the Manresa Jesuit Retreat House after completing his service as Treasurer of the Detroit Province.
